- The countdown has begun for Kfest 2002. There's still time to sign up -
if you've never attended then this is your opportunity to attend the one
function that shouldn't be missed by any Apple II user. And returnees who
haven't signed up yet, shame on you! Point your favorite browser to
http://www.kfest.org for more information

- Call-A.P.P.L.E. has released a CD-ROM of Apple II software and copies of
their previous printed editions of their In-Depth publication for $24.95
plus shipping. Additionally, they've taken over Terry Allen's Apple II
website. The site's claim to fame besides general Apple II information, is
a collection of hardware and software manuals that have been scanned and are
available for download. More information can be found at:
http://www.callapple.org/

- Dr. Steven Weyhrich, Apple II Historian extraordinaire, is in the process
of updating the ongoing history of the Apple II. The entire current history
can be found at: http://apple2history.org

- In order to facilitate overseas orders, and to make shopping for Apple
II-related products easier, Syndicomm.com has debuted a new online store.
Items for sale range from hardware like the ComputerEyes GS, software
including the entire ByteWorks catalog, and Apple II publications from back
copies of Juiced.GS to technical and programming manuals. More information
may be found at: http://store.syndicomm.com/

- A perusal of the CompactFlash for Apple II website shows that sales of the
newest Apple II storage device are going well. Rich Dreher has kept
everyone who's ordered a card informed as to their shipping status with
continuous updates on his website. For more information, visit his website
